Learning Partners Academy Trust
Energy Efficient Solutions Group collaborated with the Learning Partners Academy Trust to implement energy-efficient upgrades at four educational institutions: Guildford County School, Shalford Infants, Northmead Junior, and Stoughton Infants Schools. These schools, ranging from larger secondary institutions to smaller primary facilities, are all situated in the Surrey area.
The primary goal of this partnership was to significantly reduce energy consumption and associated costs while aligning with the Trust’s long-term commitment to sustainability. By upgrading lighting infrastructure, the Trust aimed to improve energy efficiency, lower carbon emissions, and enhance the overall learning environment across its schools. A key focus was also on decarbonisation, supporting the broader mission of environmental responsibility and compliance with evolving sustainability regulations.

what we did…
EES Group was entrusted with the supply and installation of high-performance LED lighting systems across all four schools within the Trust. These upgrades replaced outdated, inefficient lighting, delivering substantial energy savings while improving illumination quality for students and staff.
Additionally, EES Group ensured that all emergency lighting systems were upgraded to meet the latest compliance standards. This not only enhanced the safety and reliability of emergency lighting but also contributed to the schools’ operational efficiency by reducing maintenance costs and improving system longevity.
Impact and Benefits
- Energy and Cost Efficiency: The transition to LED lighting significantly lowered energy consumption, leading to a measurable reduction in electricity costs.
- Sustainability and Carbon Reduction: By implementing energy-efficient solutions, the schools took a substantial step towards reducing their carbon footprint, aligning with national decarbonisation goals.
- Enhanced Learning Environment: Improved lighting quality creates a brighter, more comfortable, and conducive atmosphere for students and teachers.
- Regulatory Compliance: The upgraded emergency lighting systems ensure full compliance with the latest safety standards, reinforcing the schools’ commitment to student and staff well-being.
This successful collaboration demonstrates how strategic investment in energy-efficient infrastructure can drive sustainability while delivering long-term cost savings. Through its expertise in LED and emergency lighting, EES Group continues to support educational institutions in achieving their energy efficiency and environmental goals.
