The Energy Efficient Solutions Group was born out extensive experience gained in the lighting industry, actively promoting the energy saving benefits of LED lighting through our organisation Energy Saving Lighting.

From this background, the Group has evolved to help support our clients with their drive towards decarbonisation and Net Zero, providing a wide range of solutions including LED Lighting, Solar PV, Heating solutions and Electric Vehicle Charging.

At the Energy Efficient Solutions Group we are fully committed to providing solutions to protect our future by operating a sustainable business that gives back to the community and environment.

Whilst we continually strive to cut our carbon footprint we recognise that some CO₂ will unavoidably be released into the atmosphere as an indirect result of supply chain and our business operations. By carbon offsetting we commit to reimburse for the CO₂ emissions created by participating in Global renewable energy initiatives, including wind farms, hydro-electric and biomass fuel projects.

In accordance with the Carbon Neutral Britain guidelines, the Energy Efficient Solutions Group has been certified by Greener Edge, to now be Climate Positive. We commit to continue to double offset our carbon emissions year on year.

The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are intended to provide a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. We are proud to support these goals and we will drive creativity, innovation and transparency throughout our organisation to help solve sustainable development challenges.

Recycling is critical to us, and we aim to ensure we recycle up to 95% of the lights that we replace ensuring that harmful chemicals such as mercury are disposed of appropriately. Not only does this reduce the energy required to produce future materials it also reduces the quantity of used products that go to landfill. We also aim to ensure that our recycling collections are made by our vehicles on a return journey to reduce the carbon footprint.

The UN Sustainable Development goals have been set out to recognise that ending poverty and other deprivations must go together with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth, all while tackling climate change. We commit to do all we can to end discrimination and inequalities in all forms.

We take our responsibility to the community seriously and for a number of years we have been supporting the charity Youthline. They have been providing counselling on mental health and wellbeing issues, in a safe and supportive environment, for the young people of Berkshire since 1988.

We support them as much as we can, including donating our staff bonuses and the team helping out on fundraising days. We are proud to support such a great cause who are making a huge difference in the area.
