We first approached Reading Football Club after Energy Efficient Solutions Group sponsored a match and noticed there wasn’t any LED lighting around the stadium. After presenting the details and showing that the stadium could save up to 80% on electricity bills it was something that was taken into further discussion.

Reading FC had been spending an estimated £143,912 per annum on lighting energy costs. Following the installation of EESG’s LED lighting, this was reduced to an estimated £28,953 saving the stadium £114,959 per year on their electricity bills, and a reduction of 80% in electrical usage.
Innovative lighting design and the utilisation of state-of-the-art products meant EESG’s team were able to achieve the correct light intensity and LUX levels for the stadium, improving the environment for both fans and staff.
