what we did…

North Bristol NHS Trust (NBT) partnered with Energy Efficient Solutions Group (EESG) to support NBT with their targets to reduce their carbon emissions. EESG have been pivotal in the feasibility, design, and delivery of a number of solar installations within the trust. Overall, the programme of works will deliver more than 440KW of solar power. As part of the installation, EESG worked on various roof types and system scales with the fundamental principle to maximise roof space and provide a fully optimised system.

EES Group installed Solar Edge technology to ensure the system delivered maximum efficiently whilst providing a high level of reporting and monitoring capabilities, which is pivotal to NBT requirements.

Pictured above is Elgar House, part of NBT, this installation featured the most complex system with a pitched roof and challenging access issues.  EES Group were delighted to win Commended for large project, at the South West Regional Energy Efficiency Awards 2023.

testimonial

“EES Group were appointed through a competitive tender to install and upgrade LED lighting and Solar PV panels across the estate as part North Bristol Trust Net Zero by 2030 initiative. One of these buildings was Elgar House, a complex system installation due to its challenging pitched roof and access issues however EES Group delivered the project efficiently and effectively, on schedule and within budget. The team worked to strict protocols whilst also being highly mindful of the hospital environment.” – Matt Gitsham, Carbon and Energy Manager
