what we did…

Leisure centres are facing high running costs with the increase of electricity prices. Evington were looking to decarbonise and reduce their high energy bills associated with running a leisure centre with a swimming pool. The programme was a complete turnkey Solar PV installation with EESG operating as the designer and principal contractor, operating to the clients detailed scope of works. Due to long running hours, the installation team were able to work effectively outside of usual trading hours. Specialist RAMS and CPP were drawn up and approved by the client. The array consisted of 100 monocrystalline solar PV modules. The project systems size was 40.00kWp providing a yield of 33,300kWh per annum, this will result in annual electricity savings in year 1 of £8,391and will save the leisure centre 7.59 cubic tonnes of carbon per annum, equivalent to 342 tress planted.
