Lead Electrician

Due to significant growth, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrician to lead our site-based team at EES Group. The ideal candidate will possess all the skills of a competent Electrician, along with good management skills and a full and comprehensive knowledge of electrical installation techniques.

Lead and oversee all aspects of Electrical installation for commercial systems, including, but not limited to:

Coordination with the mechanical team to ensure efficient cable management and penetration sealing.
Ensure strict compliance with industry standards and best practices for Electrical installations, prioritising safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with project managers, mechanical installers, and other team members to coordinate workflow, allocate resources effectively, and ensure successful project delivery.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to apprentices and support engineers, fostering skill development and maintaining consistent quality standards across the team.
Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills to overcome challenges encountered during installations, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Uphold a strong commitment to safety, promoting a culture of safety awareness and risk mitigation on job sites through regular training and enforcement of safety protocols.
Proven experience as an Electrician in electrical installation for commercial solar PV systems, with a demonstrable track record of successful projects and client satisfaction.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve excellence.
Valid driver’s license.
Commitment to upholding company values of professionalism, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Relevant qualifications and certifications in solar PV installation preferred but not essential.
Nationwide travel to and from job sites as required.
