The Energy Efficient Solutions Group was born out of extensive experience gained in the lighting industry, actively promoting the energy-saving benefits of LED lighting through our organisation Energy Saving Lighting. From this background, the Group has evolved to further help support our clients with their drive towards decarbonisation and Net Zero, providing a wide range of solutions, including LED Lighting, Solar PV, Heating solutions, Electric Vehicle Charging and Air Purification.

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for increasing turnover by identifying business opportunities, growing, and enhancing EES’s presence in the market, and building relationships with customers and consultants. They will perform detailed market research and analysis and prepare proposals in response to Tenders. They will coordinate with company executives and sales & marketing professionals to review current market trends to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue and margin.

We Looking For

A highly ambitious and energetic business development manager to help increase our profitability by building and strengthening internal and external relationships, managing customer relations, and implementing strategies designed to increase revenue and acquire new business opportunities.

This person has experience in the renewable energy market and is excited about innovation and teamwork while also being an initiator who takes on challenges to support the EES with our continual growth. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Principle duties and responsibilities:

· Proactively identify and develop new opportunities and customers across target verticals, driving sales growth significantly higher than current levels.

· Create and develop customer relationships using a targeted approach, building a reputation for excellent service and generating repeat business.

· Expand the profile and reach of the company, its brands and its products.

· Understand key customer needs and create suitable value propositions, whilst keeping customers updated on the latest products and services.

· Expand potential sales opportunities through consultative upselling and cross-selling as appropriate.

· Lead (in conjunction with the Bid Manager) preparation of strategic bids and tenders in relation to your target customers.

· Lead (in conjunction with the Marketing team) Company marketing efforts at conferences, webinars, etc and deliver customer presentations as and when required.

· Support the wider Sales and Business Development teams to develop additional sales opportunities.

· Regular communication with Company senior management relating to forecast and project pipelines.

· Regularly update the Company CRM system to drive increased sales and customer engagement.

· Understand your competition and develop sales strategies accordingly.

· Maintain a positive attitude focused on sales growth and customer satisfaction.
