Job Title:                    Experienced Data Entry Clerk/Purchase Ledger

Location:                    EES Office – Western Road, Bracknell

Contract:                    Temp to Perm

Hours:                        Full Time 8am to 4pm

 

Job Function:

Working within the Finance department processing the Purchase Ledger Invoices & Statements.

 

Principle Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Managing the accounts inbox efficiently
  • Entering purchase ledger invoices into Quickbooks within two business days of receipt.
  • Managing the approval of invoices including resolving any queries that may occur.
  • Processing monthly direct debit invoices.
  • Reconciliation of the purchase ledger accounts to supplier statements.
  • Preparation of payment runs to produce the payment file.
  • Assisting with the year end Audit.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies
